What was once a controversial statement is now accepted science... the dinosaurs have not gone extinct, they have changed. The conditions on Earth that once favored the evolution and physiological demands of giant reptilians faded as the planet’s climate changed under the stress of a catastrophic meteor impact. While the gargantuan body of giants like saurapods, allasaurus and tyranasaurus rex became maladaptive on their cooling home, smaller and better insulated miniatures thrived. Commonly known as birds, the diversity of these feathered flyers outnumber the mammals by two to one, and are the living legacy of the giants that once roamed the Earth.
